After our virtual event in 2021, the in-person Aurora Renewables Summit Berlin returned on 24 May to a full audience.

In these challenging times for Europe and the energy sector, it is more crucial than ever to come together and discuss viable solutions for the German power market and energy consumers. This year we focussed on the challenges posed by Germany’s ambitious target of generating 80% of the country’s electricity from renewables by 2030, as well as reducing the country’s dependence on Russian gas. To realise this goal, clean technologies – including offshore and onshore wind power, solar power, and hydrogen – will become essential to the future energy mix. This formed the basis of our discussion.
